How Bout Them Cowboy's

So I have to make a post about this. I am a pretty new fan of football but man that was a great game lastnight against New Orleans. I havent been that excited in a while, well at least since last Sunday when I attended the Cowboys game :) That was pretty exciting too.
I used to dread football season every year because I thought it was so boring and Nicholas always watched the games but I always seemed to find something constructive to do while they were on and never really paid attention. But as soon as I actually sat down last season and watched the Cowboys play, I really got into it and I have learned slowly how the games work and I gotta tell ya. I love it!!!! I have became one of those over excited fans. I bit every nail I had watching lastnight but I had faith the entire time even when people pegged them to lose. Sure they were the underdog in the game but they definetely rose to the occasion and played a kickass game of football. Nick Folk on the other hand, is really starting to tick me off right along with his teammate Roy Williams. They need to be banned from Texas all together, not just the NFL. I am just so happy that they won! Until next time.......

A note from the trenches

I have not posted anything on here in a while mostly because I havent felt inspired enough to write anything even remotely interesting. Not to say that I am now but I just remembered that I enjoy doing it so that inspired me enough to sign in and write something. So here goes..... In the recent weeks I have been lacking any sort of motivation. Why? who knows. I keep my home picked up, cook every night and attend class two nights a week but other than that, no motivation and I havent the slightest clue why. My children have been at each others throats lately and it has worn my patience quite thin. When a 7 and almost 3 year old fight, how on earth do you resolve the dispute? They are both right, arguing with a 3 year old is next to impossible and they are just doing what comes natural. Two siblings fighting non stop every single second they are together. It makes for a very nerve racking evening in my household. And it is impossible to prevent so you just have to prepare yourself for the war that is about to erupt as soon as the 7 year old hops in the car when he is picked up from school. I decided today that I wave the white flag and surrender. I cannot win the war with these two, they are a force to be reckoned with and Im just not a worthy enough opponent to defeat them. So as I said.... I surrender to them. They are the superior army in this household. Also to add some crazyness to the mix we now are the proud owners of a German Shepherd puppy named Cooper. He is only about 11 weeks old but he is the size of a small horse already and alot more time to grow which terrifies me. I feel as if he is going to end up being the size of a clydesdale. I will say that he is very well behaved for being the age that he is so that is a plus. I am hoping that he will be a great watchdog and go after the mutt next door that feels the need to crap in our yard whenever she gets the opportunity. Well it has been great getting back into the swing of writing but I must go feed my army. I have been summoned to the kitchen, for it is snacktime. Until next time.....

Lets talk about Twilight

Ok, now I know that I am not a 15 year old girl but I cannot say enough how much I love Twilight! I also cannot describe how dreamy Edward is. I said for the longest time that I would never watch this movie because it was just another cheesy teen movie but man was I wrong. I have turned into a teenage girl with a crush again. It reminds me of when I was younger and covered my walls with posters of all of the boys that I just loved. I think I am going to go buy a poster of Edward and hang it on my bedroom wall and relive the old days where I would go to sleep staring at a poster of my current crush. The odd thing is, I have seen him in magazines and I dont even find him the slightest bit attractive BUT in this movie he is in a way, hypnotizing. Maybe it is the chivalry that he posesses god who knows but it makes me want to find myself a hot vampire lol. And I luckily am not the only one who thinks this way. The majority of the GROWN women that I know are just as smitten as I am. I just cant put my finger on what this character posesses that makes women go wild. I just dont know. What I do know is that I cant wait until November when the new one comes out, and the next one and then the next one :) Man November is a long ways away. Oh well. Until next time......

My very own Bucket list.

So the past couple of weeks have been difficult and mind opening to say the least. They also have given me alot of time to think about things. I have came to the conclusion that I will be 29 years old next month and there are alot of things that I still want to do that I havent gotten to do yet. I have realized that although the big 30 is right around the corner I am still young enough to accomplish all of the things that I am wanting to. In my 29 years I have accompished alot of things including marrying an amazing man and having two of the best children ever. But still I am in search of more. Someone recently told me that even though your having a bad day today, tomorrow is a new day with new adventures and new problems but feel blessed when you have another day to experience things no matter what the experience may be. I truly beleive that life is what you make of it. Live your life to the fullest as if it were your very own story that you will have the pleasure of sharing with your children, and maybe even grandchildren. I dont expect to live the most exciting life imaginable but there are a few things that I would love to do or accomplish. So here is my very own bucket list full of things that I would love to add to my story one day and not necessarily in this order :)

1. Go to school and have an actual career.
2. Take a dance class.
3. Learn to play the piano or the guitar.
4. Get a job that I enjoy going to everyday.
5. Lose the extra weight that my youngest child blessed me with :)
6. Accomplish something on my own.
7. Learn how to make my nannies chocolate chip cookies.
8. Travel to Europe.
9. Take a trip with just my girlfriends.
10. Buy a Bulldog.
11. Take a Disney Cruise.
12. Go snow boarding.
13. Buy a sportscar. Red preferrably.
14. I would love to see Time Square.
15. Go to Coney Island and eat many chili cheese dogs from Nathan's.
16. Go deep sea fishing and actually catch something.
17. Write a book.

So as you can see none of this is super exciting, just things I would like to do. So as I continue to write on this here blog hopefully my list gets smaller and these things are accomplished. Or hell who knows, I just might add to it :) Until next time......

Oreo's and Tutu's

So I have recently been at home during the day, all day. Which means I have been a stay at home mom as well. Now I have said many a time that I would love to be able to stay home with my children but after being at home for a week I might just retract that statement. I love them more than life itself but my home has become a zoo. I have had my spunky two year old all day and boy is she mischievous. She is the definition of terrible two's. I am convinced at this point that she has multiple personalities. One moment she is the sweetest little thing and ten seconds later its like her little head is spinning Exorcist style. She is dramatic, moody and destructive but such an angel. It is hard to get on to a sweet little girl running around like a crazy person in a ballet tutu and bicycle helmet as she is pouring her apple juice all over anything that will sit still, true story! As I sit thinking wow, I never thought I would be sitting at home as a 28 year old cleaning up apple juice off of my furniture and holding an oreo faced angel because she played and played until she just could'nt go anymore. She terrifies me and makes me proud at the same time. She is the image of myself when I was a child and has the personality to match which could be good or bad depending on who you talk to. She is outgoing, loud, and a take charge kind of girl and I could'nt be happier. I think to myself everyday, I cant wait to see what kind of person she will grow up to be or how crazy she will be as a teenager and what wonderful things she has to offer the people that are blessed to know or come in contact with her. This is an odd post for me but I guess I am having one of those sentimental moments. Who knows. So just a gentle reminder to all of the moms reading this. Cherish every second that you have with your little oreo faced angels. Relish in the fact that they can run around in tutus, rain boots and bicycle helmets and think that they look absolutely fabulous. Encourage their individuality and let them know that it is ok to be yourself no matter how silly they look :) Until next time.....

Feeling a little cracky today???

Well here I am submitting another random blog entry while I am at work. Our boss just left so it is party time!!! Well not that we are going to party but just relax a bit I guess. Heather is typing away I am blogging and Andrea is reading my blog so as you can see we are pretty wild when the boss is away. I have been sitting in this chair all day long drinking Cherry Coke like a fiend and I am feeling a little cracky. I am just sitting here all hopped up on sugar with no way to get rid of this extra energy. I guess I could run around the office like a retard because the other two people that are here with me would probably not even notice. On a side note I had a McGriddle this morning from McDongaloids and it was Fanfreakingtastic! Whoever got the idea to make a sandwich out of pancakes and inject it with syrup is a genius in my opinion, pure genius. They are a heart attack waiting to happen but at the same time, packed with sweet goodness. So who cares I guess. Well that is all for now. Hope you enjoyed another one of my pointless posts.

Working like a slave

As I am winding down for the day I can't help but think I am so glad it's Friday and I don't have to work tomorrow. Oh.. wait.. I do have to work tomorrow. Isn't that super? And if you think that's bad I will be strolling into the office on Sunday too. Yep, twelve days of work in a row. Man I need to win the lottery already. It sucks to know that I am working my life away. But I digress. I just got finished watching a little flick named Pineapple Express. It is by far my new favorite movie and if you haven't seen it, see it. It is packed full of greatness! I lol every time I watch it. So on to a more interesting topic. I am in search of an English Bulldog puppy and I am having the hardest time finding one. It always seems like it takes forever to find something when you really want it. Every one that I find is either not the color I want, located in B.F.E. or they want your first born as payment. I just don't get it. I am pretty certain that I am going to have to hunt far and wide to find one of the little suckers. So maybe on a post a year from now I might announce that I have found one :) I swear, it is really hard to concentrate when you have a wild animal next to you snoring loud enough to wake the dead. And by wild animal I mean Nicholas. Man I hope I don't sound like this when I sleep. Well I think it is time to hit the sack. Goodnight everyone :)

Zombies? Really??

Okay so I know it has been a while since I have posted here I just have not been very inspired lately. To be completely honest I am not very inspired now just horribly bored at work and I am sure that when you are done reading this ridiculous post you will be bored too :) There is work to be done, I am just not motivated enough at the moment to do any of it. I am also fairly certain that I will be whining later because there is too much of it to do and not enough time to do it but oh well. I can't breathe, my nose is running like a faucet and I feel lousy. I am very sure that I have been infected with something, but anyhoo. I tried surfing the web for a while but I just could not find anything interesting enough to look at. I just ended up reading a ton of nonsense in a rather entertaining forum and saw on cnn.com that someone hacked into some road signs in Austin and made them read " Zombies Ahead run for your lives" among some other funny quotes. The news was going crazy over this. I along with a fellow co-worker think it is hilarious by the way and Nicholas thinks that it could be true and was put there by the center for disease control or something but who knows right. We also decided out of boredom to take a Zombie survival test online and I am sad to report that if in fact Zombies surface here, I only have a 9% survival rate. So it is pretty safe to say that I would cease to exist or I would be bitten and come back as a Zombie and then you are all in trouble because if I am a bitch as a normal human think of how bad I would be as a Zombie. Makes you think huh? We also stumbled upon a rather informative site about wiggers, yeah you heard me right http://www.wiggaz.com/ apparently this is an epidemic of some sort. I have seen some of these wiggers but I just never realized that the problem was so serious. As we are surfing this site out of pure boredom and I cant stress that enough, I ask myself what is wrong with the youth of today? They have to know that they look like complete tools. But then again I could be wrong. Well I hope that my post has been informative and remember, when your out watch for Zombies if you are questioning if you could win a fight with a Zombie just take the Zombie survival test I assume that it is pretty accurate when it calculates these things and beware of wiggers :) Later peeps.
